A path of just over 170 kilometres that runs along the southern coast of the Arousa estuary, enters the Ulla river and from Padrón heads towards Santiago de Compostela.
The body of the Apostle Santiago was brought from Jaffa (Palestine) to Iria Flavia, near Padrón, from where it was taken to Compostela. The Xacobean maritime-fluvial route commemorates, precisely, this legend.
